ARTIST PROFILE
Based in Silverstone, Northants I am mainly a self-taught artist with over 20 years of painting, drawing and personal study.I was born and raised in Derbyshire and worked my way up through the ranks to become a successful marketeer and project manager.
It wasn't until the birth of my second son and with the encouragement of my fantastic husband that I found the courage to give up the corporate world and focus on my real passion - Painting!
Colours and ideas have always been within me, but my true inspiration came through the form of a crystal healer and medium. This is when I discovered my true style, using intense colour with strong heavy brushstrokes to produce pattern, shade and flow. My aim has always been for people to feel the painting rather than just see it, and through my work I have created real emotion on the canvas.
Since then I try to let my spirit do the work rather than my personality; that way the image is a true reflection of what I see in my dreams and thoughts. My art comes from the soul. I am a painter of what I feel and imagine rather than what I see around me. I enjoy the unknown of what will happen when I paint I always like to think there is some sort of higher vibration that takes over, so I tend to never plan - just paint.
It works for me and if there's an angel on my shoulder helping me, who am I to argue?

As well as exhibiting, I also supply numerous interior designers, some of these with apartments in Canary Wharf and Kensington, I've also supplied wine bars and those groovy Indian Restaurants that are hitting the streets. I also supply galleries up and down the country.
The finish of my work is high quality, if I'm not happy I won't sell it, if you want a colour or style that I don't think will work, I'll tell you.
